Ingredients
• 2 small or 1 large quince
• 2 tablespoons apple juice concentrate
Preparation
1. Prepare the Quince
Peel the quince and remove the core and seeds.
2. Arrange in a Baking Dish
Place the removed quince cores and seeds at the bottom of a glass baking dish. Layer the quince slices on top.
3. First Baking Phase
Cover the baking dish with a glass lid and bake at 180°C (350°F) until the quince softens.
4. Add Apple Juice Concentrate
Once the quince releases its juice, add 2 tablespoons of apple juice concentrate. Cover again and continue baking until the liquid thickens.
5. Ready to Serve!
When the liquid turns into a jelly-like consistency, remove the cores and seeds. Transfer the quince slices and the jelly to a serving plate. 🍯 To enhance the flavor: Sprinkle with cinnamon, crushed walnuts, or hazelnuts.
